Just got in from the show....all I can say is FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!! I'm so hyped I just had to tell someone! This was a traditional 2hr 45min Buce show. Mrs Springsteen showed up for the first time this tour. A lot of surprises, some expected. We got into the pit thanks to Gabe's friend Philip. Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed all the Bruce show's I've been to over....oh, shit....30 years!! But this one had me in awe all night!! Yes. I got choked up n a little teary eyed during the opening memorial to Danny set to Blood Brothers, but forget it, when I heard Blood Brothers segue way into those ever familiar opening bars of Backstreets, I lost it! But of course I wasn't alone, Bruce and a few others wiped there eyes a few times during Backstreets. Max had a hard time during Sandy and then again for I'll Fly Away Home. But it reminded of an Irish wake...party party party & celebration through out the show, it wasn't dark everyone was very up beat smiling which made the evening even more special!
This is about my 13th of 14th Bruce show since my first, The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Tour at The Capital Theater in lovely downtown Passaic, NJ. This sow tonight in Tampa will rate possibly #2. But let's see what tomorrow in Orlando brings or even the closing night of the thi leg of the tour in Fort Lauderdale on May 2nd
